Don’t you wish woolly mammoths still existed?

Woe is me.  I have not been feeling  well and it is evident by the lack of posts lately.  I am on the mend though and have done a few little needle felted birds…

and a few little free motion embroidery tea towels…

These will be available at the upcoming Jasper ArtFest in mid April.  My first ever experience with a booth or outdoor show or anything other than just a painting or two in a show or gallery.  Am I nervous?  H—, yeah!  Petrified is probably a good word to describe my feelings and the closer it gets to being ready the more anxious I am.  I keep telling myself it is experience and experience alone is valuable and worthwhile.  Right????

In the meantime, I am proud to say that Susan and Jay Wright have placed my work on the wall at the It’s A Grind Coffee shop in Holly Springs.  Go  get yourself a cup of coffee (it is sooo much better there than at Starbucks) and see my paintings!

BTW, that bottom image is a woolly mammoth and not an elephant.  I do love woolly mammoths….

I knew it was a Woolly Mammoth : ) I’m sure you’ll do very well at your art fair. I love your birds. Hope you’re feeling better.
