What I did with my time this weekend.

There has to be a good title for this bird but for the life of me, I cannot come up with it.  Any suggestions?

This is a tiny watercolour done while watching TV last night.   He will soon be recreated in thread.

I say watching TV but it is more like listening to TV when I am at the drawing board.  I have a bunch of DVD’s I watch over and over again.  I mean, I can say the lines along with the actors.  Occasionally though, I will look up from what my hands are working on and actually look at the screen.  Sometimes it is as tho’ I have never viewed the movie before, the image is unrecognizable to me.  That always makes me giggle in amazement.

You know I do the same thing — watching DVDs I’ve seen over and over. It makes good background for creating or falling asleep. Love your birds – the thread one and the watercolor. The only name I could come up with is “Feathers of a Bird” — a twist on the old saying — but you can probably come up with something better.

Your bird is lovely. I wish I had an equally lovely title; but, I have to admit, what I thought of was “Bird in search of Rogaine.”

This is very pretty & delicate. I can’t imagine working with a DVD on – mostly I think the sounds would drive me mad & I wouldn’t be able to get absorbed in my work, but it certainly doesn’t seem to have stopped you!

Kind of looks like the bird is sitting in the fallout of his friend that has spontaneously combusted so the title “Ode to Earl” came to mind. Sick, I know but, that is my suggestion

Great name, Allison! I was thinking it looked like he was the victor of whatever had just happened! Similar train of thought….
